Tasman Revival 2010

26 - 28 November 2010

The Tasman Revival meeting will be spread over four action packed days from Thursday 25 November to Sunday 28 November 2010. The Eastern Creek circuit will
be available to all entrants for private practice on Thursday with the formal race meeting then extending over the remaining three days on each of which there will be
events for all types of historic cars entered at the meeting.

THURSDAY 25 November

The circuit will be available all day for set up and private practice.

FRIDAY 26 November

Morning – Qualifying sessions for all groups
Afternoon – Races for all groups

SATURDAY 27 November

All Day – Races for all groups
Evening – social function

SUNDAY 28th November

The following feature events for all groups will be held on ‘Tasman Sunday’.

1.Regularity

This group is at the discretion of the event organizers and caters for vehicles of a sporting nature built prior to the mid 1980s. Cars must be substantially presented in period specification.

2. Vintage & PVT

Pre 1960 racing, sports cars and invited sedans (CAMS Groups J K & L, & invited Na, Sa)

3. Post Tasman Era Racing Cars

Single seat racing cars from the 1970s and 1980s with wings and slick tyres. This event includes F1, F2 andFormula Atlantic cars but excludes F5000. (CAMS Groups P, Q and R)

4. Marque Sports Cars

Pre 1978 production sports cars (CAMS Groups Sb, Sc, T and invited M sports)

5. Formula Ford
Pre 1984 Formula Fords excluding the Swift DB1 (CAMS Groups Fa and Fb)

6. Demonstration of Significant Historic Racing Cars

7. Tasman Legends - Driver Parade in open sports cars

8. Tasman Revival Feature 15 laps

Pre 1970 single seat racing cars with treaded tyres and no wings. The event is restricted to cars of types whichcontested the original Tasman series and earlier international events in Australia and NZ in the 1960s.(CAMS Groups Lb, M and O)

9. Sports Racing Cars
Open and closed sports racing cars from 1966 to 1986 (CAMS Groups O, Q and R)

10. Formula 5000 Tasman Revival 15 laps
F5000 racing cars of types which contested the original Tasman series in the 1970s (CAMS Group F5000)

11. Racing Cars International Challenge
Single seat racing cars from the 1960s (treaded tyres and no wings) not qualifying for the Tasman Revival
feature event. Formula Junior, F3 and also including Formula Vee. (CAMS Groups M, O, Va and Vb)

12. Touring Cars
Pre 1973 production touring cars of types with a competition history in Australia (CAMS Groups Nb and Nc)
